Disconnect Sump Pumps & Down spouts

Pursuant to Section 710.130: No person shall discharge or cause to be discharged any stormwater, surface water, ground water, roof runoff, subsurface drainage, including interior and exterior foundation drains.

Storm Shelters Available:

Storm Shelters:  Per City's Emergency Management as of 3-13-2025 storm shelters available when sirens are sounded are at the following locations:

1. Basement doors at Court House

2. Regular doors at jail parking garage.

Water bills are due upon receipt or before the 15th of each month to avoid a penalty.

RFQ Legal Services: City Attorney

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR LEGAL SERVICES:

The City of Stockton is soliciting proposals for the position of City Attorney. Qualified candidates must be an attorney or firm licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and in good standing with the Missouri Bar Association. Proposal specifications can be obtained at City Hall, 1424 South St or by contacting Mayor Cahill at 417-276-5210.  Sealed proposals should be submitted to City Hall, Attn: Mayor Cahill, PO Box 590, Stockton, MO 65785 or delivered in person. Mon-Fri 8-4. Please mark envelope “Legal Services 2026-27”. Deadline will be Friday, February 13, 2026, at 4 p.m. to submit RFQ. Mayor Cahill will ask Council to approve his appointment on Monday, February 23, 2026, during the regular session meeting at City Hall, 1424 South Street, Stockton, Missouri at 4:30 p.m.
